The project "Social inclusion of Roma children from settlement Topaana Chair - Skopje, Republic of Macedonia "started with realization from January 2015.
The main objective of the project is an educational - social integration of children from early childhood development to completion of primary education in multiethnic educational surroundings by providing assistance and support to Roma students for continuous and qualitative monitoring of primary education in the Educational Centre for education and upbringing with writing homework and learning the material given from school.
Within the project is implemented the program for Early Child Developments which includes children from 3.5 to 5 years of age. The program objective is to promote health and foster intellectual, emotional, physical and social development of Roma children.
During the summer, students continue the education process through implementation of multicultural summer camp where students socialize among themselves, realize educational walks in Skopje and outside Skopje and in August is organized several day stay of students in children's resort in Ohrid.
For strengthening the capacities of students from Faculty of Pedagogy "St. Kliment Ohridski" Skopje was provided training on "Multicultural education and cultural mediation, volunteerism, philanthropy and communication skills" and after completion of the training, the students have practical work in primary schools "Vasil Glavinov" and "Jashar Bej Shkupi" and kindergarten “Snezana" where they will have opportunity to work directly with students in a multiethnic environment and multiethnic schools.
